A PERVERTED handyman from Enfield who posed as a yoga expert to sexually assault three women has been jailed for four years.
Kyno Hunt, 32, of Bennets Lodge, Chase Court Gardens, was employed as a heating engineer which allowed him to visit the homes of his victims then coax them into an all-fours position stating he was a trained Yoga instructor.
He would use the ploy in order to create an opportunity where he could come into close physical contact and then sexually assault the innocent women.
Hunt was found guilty of three charges of sexual assault and jailed for four years at Wood Green Crown Court, on Tuesday, October 19. He will also be listed on the Sex Offenders Register for life. The jury cleared him of a fourth allegation of sexual assault.
The first count relates to an attack against a woman from Cheshunt in February 2008 but it was not until September 2010 that "manipulative" Hunt was caught after assaulting an Enfield woman.
After her ordeal, the brave victim reported the incident to Enfield police whose specialist rape unit, Sapphire, immediately launched an investigation.
As a result of their efforts the woman in Cheshunt, and another woman who was attacked by Hunt in April at her Broxbourne home came forward.
The last woman had been tricked by Hunt into crouching on her hands and knees in order under the guise that she she needed to get a better view of the airing cupboard. He then sexually assaulted her.
Detective Inspector Daniel Smith, of Sapphire unit, said: "Hunt is clearly a manipulative and brazen individual who preyed on women, abusing his position and assaulting the victims in their own homes.
"My team of officers are committed to tackling serious sexual assault and ensuring those responsible are held accountable for their actions. I would encourage anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Hunt to contact my team on 020 8345 4326."
